Day Wise Itinerary:
Day 1: Fri, 31st March 2023 – Travel to the beautiful Lofoten Islands, Jewel of Norway
(Dinner)
Fly from Oslo > Svolvær crossing the Scandes mountain range, islands and fjords & land in the spectacular Lofoten Islands, 250 km above the Arctic Circle. (Flight cost additional)
Private transfer from Svolvaer Airport to Hotel.
Accomodation at NYVAGAR RORBU HOTEL with Sea View Cabins or similar.
NYVAGAR RORBU HOTEL: Enjoy your stay in a charming cabin idyllically located at the Norwegian Sea, in the historically area of Storvågan surrounded by a unique landscape. Decoration is simple but cozy and pure Lofoten style. The lodge has a sauna with sea views, an arctic bar and hot tub. Each cabin has a living room and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. It is possible to view northern lights from your hotel (until middle April).
Sauna would be ready for the guests at the lodge.
At 8pm, Welcome drink and Dinner at the lodge.
Overnight in Lofoten islands.
Day 2: Sat, 1st April 2023 – Rubber boat expedition to Raftsundet & Trollfjord(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
At 10am, Depart on a 3Hours Scenic boat ride (Rubber Inflated boat) and Eagle safari.
Ride past mountains, islands and the spectacular north coast. Enjoy local wildlife such as cormorants, eiders and white-tailed eagles.
Skirt the impressive mountains of the Vest Fjord till Raftsundet (Strait of Raft), to enter on the scenic Troll Fjord, one of the most emblematic places of Lofoten. It is well known for its stunning beauty, steep mountain range and narrow inlets.
At 1pm: Arrive in Henningsvær, a unique arctic fishing village. Lunch in a local restaurant at 1.30pm. Enjoy afternoon on your own in Henningsvær: Go for a walk or visit the town for some shopping. At 16:30, Return to the lodge by car. Guests can avail Sauna facilities. It is also possible to plunge into the ocean from the lodge. Dinner will be served in the lodge at 20:00 hours.
Overnight in Lofoten.
Day 3: Sun, 2nd April 2023 – South of Lofoten: white beaches and fishing towns
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
In the morning at 10am, Explore South Lofoten on a private vehicle. Wild beaches with white sand and turquoise waters, Glacier valleys, Granite Mountains, polar fishing villages awaits you during this day.
Enjoy an ‘Arctic Brunch’ in a beautiful spot.
Continue to the arctic fishing village of Nusfjord or Sakrisoy (weather permitting)
Lunch at 2pm in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, journey back to hotel while discovering new landscapes and views.
Arrive at the lodge at 5.30pm. Dinner at 8pm in the lodge premises.
Overnight in Lofoten.
Day 4: Mon, 3rd April 2023 – Snowshoeing + Travel to Tromsø, the Arctic Gateway
(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Port Breakfast, Proceed for Snowshoeing. Put on modern snowshoes to access the snowy hills and frozen lakes. Snowshoes have been used for centuries by indigenous communities living long winters in the snow; the modern version is made of lightweight aluminium that fits any walking boots. You will have your personal guide for this activity. Lunch will be served after the activity.
Later, Private transfer to Svolvær airport to take a domestic flight Svolvær-Bodo-Tromso at 1.25pm.
On Arrival at Tromsø airport, at around 4.25pm, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your hotel overlooking the Tromsø harbor.
Accommodation at Scandic Ishavs Hotel – Superior room or similar property
Rest of the day on your own in Tromsø to walk around the city, do some shopping or maybe some other activity.
Later, A quick Briefing introducing you to the world of arctic hunters and explorers one day before travelling to the Svalbard Island. This briefing will give you the opportunity to know more about the lands you will discover in the next days.
Today´s dinner will be in one of the best restaurants in the city where we will continue trying some arctic specialties.
Overnight in Tromsø.
Day 5: Tue, 4th April 2023 – Flying over the Arctic Ocean, the roof of the world
(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast at the hotel, at around 10.30am, you will be transferred to Tromso Airport in a private transfer.
Flight from Tromso to Longyearbyen (Svalbard Islands) at 12.20pm .During the flight you will cross the Arctic Ocean. Arrive in Longyearbyen at 78º north, the northernmost town in the planet at 1400 hours. Private transfer to your “arctic hotel” located in the center of Longyearbyen.
Accommodation: Polfareren Svalbard Hotel or similar: With 31 brand new “arctic designed” rooms, newer and better facilities. Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Polfareren Svalbard Hotel offers a terrace and modern comfortable rooms. Complimentary tea and coffee is available in the lobby.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Leisure time to walk in the streets of Longyearbyen.
Evening, you will go on a Snowmobile experience catching the light at 7pm in Advent Valley.
Today´s goal is to go on a practice drive, making the first contact with the terrain and the equipment while discovering the special light of Svalbard on April. It will be a training experience for tomorrow´s full day snowmobile safari. You will drive your own snowmobile (Remember to bring your driving license).
At the end, you will be served dinner in a very special atmosphere.
Overnight in Longyearbyen.
Day 6: Wed, 5th April 2023 – Snowmobile expedition in the realm of Polar bears
(Breakfast & Lunch)
Post breakfast, Depart at 9am on a Full day Snow-Mobile Safari in the land of Polar Bears. After equipment and safety instructions, you will commence driving your single snow mobiles along Spitsbergen Island and the remote landscapes (remember to bring your driving license). You will drive through mountainous landscapes and reach the blue glaciers fronts falling into the iced sea. Photographic spots and Chances to spot polar wildlife (seals, wild reindeers, may be a polar bear…). Cross the marine ice glaciers discovering remains of hunters’ old cabins in the middle of the remotest scenery.
Expedition lunch. In the afternoon, continue driving the snow-mobiles unearthing new arctic landscapes and the amazing arctic light.
At 5pm, Return to Longyearbyen and be transferred to your hotel for a well-deserved rest. Today´s dinner will be on your own so that you can try one of the restaurants in Longyearbyen. Our staff will be glad to assist you with your bookings.

Day 7: Thu, 6th April 2023 – Dogsledding adventure
(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After Breakfast, Begin the day with a short stop at “Trapper’s Station”, one of the best dog farms in the area located 10kms from Longyearbyen. There, you will learn how to prepare your sleighs following directions from our guides and choosing the appropriate dogs for today’s Dogsledding activity.
Sledge through the Bolterdalen valley surrounded by the Svalbard Mountains. With the silence as a companion, you will hear the sound of your skis as they slide over the snow to arrive to the ice caves.
Explore the Ice caves wearing helmets and head lights. You will be served an Expedition lunch (dehydrated food).
Return to the dog farm where you will have a hot cup of tea or coffee gathered around the bonfire sharing the anecdotes and experiences of the day.
At 3pm, transfer back to the hotel. In the evening, you will be on your own.
Farewell dinner in the most emblematic restaurant in Longyearbyen.

Day 8: 7th April 2023, Friday – Back to Oslo
(Breakfast)
You will enjoy the last few hours in Longyearbyen doing some shopping or visiting the Polar Museum, North Pole Museum..
Private transfer to Longyearbyen Airport. Fly from Longyearbyen to Oslo at around 2.10pm. During the flight you will cross the Arctic Ocean back to mainland Norway. Arrive Oslo Gardermoen airport by 6.30pm. You can then take a connecting flight from Oslo to your desired destination. (Flight cost extra)
You will return home with sweet memories of your trip.

We will adapt ourselves to the meteorological conditions of the Arctic and the weather to enjoy some pleasant days. Even though we have established a route plan, said plan can suffer modifications for any of the mentioned reasons, always having the safety and well-being of our travelers in mind.
Delays to the start of the journey due to airline personnel strikes, airport closures for climatologically reasons, flight delays or any other meteorological or logistical cause that could affect the safety of the group or one of the participants, and/or any other reason unrelated to us won’t be a motive to claim for a breach of contract to the expected journey.
The company as much as the coordinator, the captains or the arctic guides reserve the right to modify, change or omit any part of the itinerary, journey plan or the order of the activities detailed in the program, only when necessary.

A second payment equivalent to 70% is required 10 weeks prior to departure date

Cancelled trip between 7 months and 4 months before arrival: 10% of the full price
