Jeju Fire Festival

On Jeju Island, this festival takes place in March. It features performances by local musicians and dancers, as well as customary fire-related activities like lighting torches and bonfires.
Boryeong Mud Festival
This event is held during the month of July in Boryeong, a city on South Korea’s west coast. Mud baths, mud wrestling and other mud-related events are highlights of the festival.

Jinju Lantern Festival

This festival takes place every October in the city of Jinju. It commemorates a historical battle that took place in the city and features thousands of lanterns floating down the Nam river.
Gwangju World Kimchi Culture Festival
It honors kimchi, the national food of Korea, and is held in the city of Gwangju in the month of November. Kimchi-making competitions, kimchi-themed art displays and traditional Korean cultural performances are all part of it.
